Jamie & Tammy Darrow

Senior Pastors

Pastor Jamie & Tammy Darrow are a couple who love Jesus and love people. They were called by God to the city of Jacksonville in 2018 and are grateful to be an extension of Victory Outreach International. Previously, Pastor Jamie and Tammy served as Associate Pastors of Victory Outreach Church in Milwaukee, WI for nine years. 

Pastor Jamie understands the struggle that many are facing in the inner cities of America. He grew up outside of Milwaukee, WI in a broken home surrounded by drug and alcohol addiction and was pulled into that lifestyle at a very young age. He fell into a life of drug addiction and crime which eventually led him to get locked up in a juvenile detention facility. Upon release, Jamie was court ordered to a foster home in a nearby city where he met his foster parents, which happened to be a godly couple who loved Jesus. They extended such love toward Jamie that after staying with them for roughly seven months and receiving their love and support, he gave his life to Jesus. That was the Christmas season of 1999 and Jamie has never looked back to his old life but has been serving the Lord ever since. 

Sister Tammy was born and raised in Milwaukee WI in a loving Christian home.  Though she grew up going to church and had encounters with God at different church camps and retreats in her youth, she didn't fully commit her life to Jesus until later in life.  Tammy struggled with feeling a sense of belonging and finding her place in the world, trying out different avenues to bring her fulfillment (dance, art, music, clubs, parties, etc).  In her first semester of college in 2003, a small circle of "friends" took advantage of her kindness and hurt her deeply, creating more confusion and an increased lack of self-esteem.  The Lord brought to remembrance times where He touched her life.  While others had left and forsaken her, the Lord brought an assurance that He loved her just as she was and would never leave or forsake her.  After surrendering her life to Jesus, during prayer she felt a strong call to full-time ministry.  Through her good friend Jamie, he introduced her to the ministry of Victory Outreach and she fell in love with the vision to reach the lost and hurting people of the world with the message of hope and plan of Jesus Christ.  A year and a half later Jamie and Tammy were married and God revealed to them their calling of becoming Pastors and planting a new church to expand the mission and vision of Victory Outreach.

Pastor Jamie and Sister Tammy are filled with the love of God for a dying world and a deep passion to reach those who are hurting in the inner city of Jacksonville, FL.
